Rowe Street Baptist Church (first) is built.

Originally the Federal Street Baptist Church, it is located on Federal Street. Howard Malcolm is the first minister. The building is demolished to make way for the construction of warehouses in 1845 and a new church building (second) on Rowe Street in 1847.
